Andy Mulcaster

CEO

Andy has been in the motor industry since the age of 16 when he joined the British Army as a mechanic. He specialised in Heavy Plant and hydraulics and spent seven years in various postings with the army in Germany, Canada and the Middle East. He continued his career in the United Kingdom and Europe within the fleet industry with roles at Exel Logistics and Budget Rent a Car. 

In 1999 Andy joined Custom Fleet in the UK as Trade Services Manager. This role encompassed the responsibility for purchasing, maintenance and disposals, in what was a very challenging market place with pressure from parallel imports and a declining used market. In late 2002 Andy transferred to the Australian operation as the Manager Trade Services Australia. 

Andy joined sgfleet in August 2006 as General Manager Trade Operations and was appointed as Managing Director in July 2007.

Geoff Tipene

General Manager

Geoff started in the motor industry aged 15 as an apprentice mechanic for Chrysler. From 1983 to 1988 Geoff worked at Tony Packard Holden / Subaru as Part Manager, Hills Ford Galston as Warranty Manager and Thompson Ford as Service Manager. In 1988 Geoff joined Custom Fleet as their second service controller. Moving quickly through the ranks, Geoff worked in varies roles in the Trade Services area.

In 1996 Geoff was part of a team that went to New Zealand to start the Custom Fleet product for Bank of New Zealand. Returning to Custom Fleet Australia in 1999 Geoff took on the role of Trade Services Manager.

In 2002 Geoff returned to New Zealand after Custom Fleet successfully acquired the Hertz FleetLease business off Ford Motor Co. As Managing Director of Custom Fleet New Zealand, Geoff’s role was to integrate the two businesses whilst retaining and protecting the combined client portfolio. In 2006 Custom Fleet was sold to GE where Geoff stayed on as Managing Director until 2009. From 2009 to Jan 2011 Geoff held the position of Managing Director of FleetPlus New Zealand, and is now the General Manager of sgfleet New Zealand.

Bryce Grove

General Manager Trade Operations

Bryce started in the automotive industry with Manheim Fowles in 1996 as part of a national team to develop trade auctions specifically for manufacturer’s vehicle disposal through dealer networks. This provided Bryce with a fantastic grounding in the wholesale vehicle market place and afforded him with technical knowledge of vehicles and relationships within the industry.

His experience and knowledge of the New Zealand fleet management market increased during eight years at Custom Fleet NZ where he managed departments in Trade Services before being appointed to National Manager Remarketing and Disposal in 2005.

Bryce holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business and Marketing from Auckland University and joined the team at sgfleet in 2007 as General Manager Trade Operations.  At sgfleet, his passion for fleet continues as he provides consultancy to clients, ensuring the vehicles they choose are the best fit for their fleet.

Nick DeVries

General Manager Business Operations

Nick began his career in South Africa working for KPMG for five years. After a few years in accounting and general management roles in South Africa and Botswana, he moved into the Finance industry. Nick continued in finance roles for a further 15 years including 10 years in the New Zealand fleet management industry.

In 1998 Nick joined Custom Fleet in NZ as National Sales and Relationship Manager and filled various other roles until his appointment as National Manager for NZ. These roles encompassed all areas including sales, relationship management, purchasing, maintenance and general management duties. In 2003 Nick joined Esanda Fleet Partners as the Head of Operations. In 2007 he joined the team at sgfleet as General Manager Business Operations.

Andy Graham

General Manager Business Systems

Andy has been working in the IT industry for coming up to 15 years and has spent almost 10 of those years providing technology solutions specifically to the Fleet Management industry. Andy's previous role was Global IT Manager at one of the largest Fleet Management companies in Australasia, a company which he began working with in their UK office in his hometown of Carlisle. Andy worked his way up the ranks and in 2003 was transferred to Australia to head up the eBusiness development team in Sydney during which time he played a significant role in revitalising their Online Services in both the Australasian and UK markets. In 2004 Andy was promoted to the role of Global IT Manager and held that role up until he joined the Super Group in July 2006.

Roy Waghorn

General Manager Corporate Sales and Marketing

Roy first started in the Fleet Management industry in 1989. In that time he has held both interstate and overseas roles in Sales and Customer Service.

Roy’s 20 years in various fleet leasing and management roles means that he has experience in many segments of the industry. These include, heading up a national novated team, corporate leasing and fleet management. Before joining sgfleet Roy held the role of NSW State Manager at Custom Fleet.

Roy started at sgfleet in March 2008 as Marketing Manager and was appointed as General Manager Corporate Sales and Marketing in February 2009.
